BALTIC BIRCH & OTHER IMPORTS
Birch is an excellent choice for so many woodworking projects. Commonly used as drawer material for custom cabinetry, baltic birch has a void-free core allowing screws to hold with 100% of their threads. It has improved strength and stability and an attractive appearance. Renneberg Hardwoods carries a large variety of imports including Baltic Birches, White Birches and other exotic species. We stock a variety of different thicknesses, sizes and quality levels.
THICKNESS GRADES
B/BB: A single piece face with a veneer back. Face veneers are considered clear and free of defects with a light-uniform color. The veneer back allows for 3-6 color matched oval-shaped patches, approximately the size of an egg. Inner cores are solid birch single piece veneers.
BB/BB: A single piece face and a single piece back. Both the face and back veneers allow for 3-6 small color-matched patches on average and some light mineral streaks and tight pin knots may be present. Inner cores are solid single piece veneers.
